Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is an Inter-faith Pastoral Counselor the same as a christian counselor? Is there a difference?

Inter-faith Pastoral counseling is very different than christian counseling. Inter-faith deals with all faiths or no faiths. It may look at the power of the
story in various literature in the history of the world. Issues of faith would typically not be brought up unless the client themselves wanted to discuss
them. BTW, I am an ordained minister with Universal Life Church.

2. Are you GLBTQ Friendly?

Yes, I am. We've worked with various individuals and couples and accept clients as they are and look at where they want to go in their lives.

3. Are you covered by insurance?

Not at this time, I'm afraid. There are EAPs in both the USA and Canada that send their employees to us, but we are not covered by Korean Insurance.

4. Are there any specials being offered?

The very first 30 min. block is free. In addition, U.S., Canadian, UN and Korean Military personnel enjoy a 10% discount. Those that are 62 years and
over may claim a 20% discount. In addition, we have a "sliding scale" for those that are not earning full-time income.

5. What are your hours of operation?

It depends on the day of the week. Typically Sunday we are closed. Most other days it will depend on scheduling, but may actually be anytime from
9:30 am to 11:30 pm, depending on availability. For those living in other parts of the world, I am available via Skype video late into the evening/
early morning by way of appointment.

6. How do clients meet with you.

Individuals or couples may call or email and set up an appointment for either a meeting face to face in our home/office in Hannam-dong (Itaewon East Village), Seoul, or via Skype Video.
